Mini Face Lifts

Author: Jason Gluckman

Mini face-lifts are all the rage in younger patients who want to look even younger, but do not yet require full-face lifts. Mini face-lifts are small surgeries that target a specific problematic spot on the face.

Should I get a mini face lift?

If you think you have problems with some parts of you face may it be the skin around your nose and your lips, your jaw line or your neck you can have an endoscopic, mini face lift done. Some experts insist that this is necessary to prevent facial signs of aging, so that they do not become obvious.

What is done in a mini face lift?

During the procedure, the surgeon will make small incisions either behind your hairline or inside your mouth (depending on your problem area) and lift the muscle and skin tissue. The risks and side effects associated with mini face lifts are substantially less than those associated with full face lifts. Recovery time is also relatively shorter about two days.

How much do mini face lift procedures cost?

A typical mini-face lift costs between $1,300 and $,1800, approximately half the price you would pay for of a full-face lift. Like most other aesthetic surgeries, mini face-lifts are not covered by insurance, so you have to pay for it out of your won pocket.

Some notes

Mini face-lifts are growing in popularity, because they are quick and relatively cheap procedures for enhancing the beauty of a face. Some experts say that it is preventive surgery, because it puts off signs of aging before they attack. Nevertheless, you should be very well informed of the risks of mini face-lifts before you sign up for a procedure. Do not hesitate to talk to your doctor about it. Ask any questions you may have no matter how silly they may seem.
