GE Refrigerator - Three Lines For You To Choose From

Author: Margarette Tustle

The GE Refrigerator has been around almost as long as its manufacturer, General Electric, which was founded by Thomas Edison. The reason this company and its products have been around so long is because they are made to last and to work well. People have come to rely on GE for many of their home and appliance needs for everything from light bulbs to washers and dryers. If you are looking for a refrigerator, you may want to take a look at each of the three GE Refrigerator lines. They are: GE Monogram, GE Profile, and the GE Collection. They come with a wide selection of prices, styles and colors depending on your lifestyle and your particular needs and tastes.

GE Monogram:

This is the top-of-the-line group of products that GE offers. You can find all of the most popular styles like side-by-side, freezer on top or bottom, left or right opening, and even all freezer or all refrigerator. This GE Refrigerator line is certified as an Energy Star product which means it is energy efficient. It comes in a stainless steel finish and has clean, crisp lines and styling for the kitchens of today. You can even customize the inside to your particular needs.

GE Profile:

As with the Monogram line, you can get all of the popular styles with this GE Refrigerator line with the additional bonus of being able to choose from a free-standing model or a built in model that matches your cabinets and counter tops. You can get it with or without a water dispenser in the door and you can even choose to customize the inside of the fridge if you like. You can get an Energy Star model with the top freezer variety. The color choices are stainless steel, black, white and bisque. With this GE Refrigerator line, you can even choose to have a wine cooler or a beverage reserve center. They are stainless steel and compact in design.

GE Collection:

This is the most affordable and price conscious of the GE Refrigerator lineup. You can choose from a top or bottom freezer, side by side model, manual defrost, upright freezer, or chest freezer. As far as options go, in this GE Refrigerator line, what you see is what you get. You are able to choose colors for the products, but not much else. But, remember that most of the standard features in basic refrigerators today are very innovative and quite practical as well. You may not need all of the extras that are found on the more expensive GE Refrigerator lines. It is all up to you and your budget and your lifestyle and needs.

More Online Research

If you would like more information about any of these products you have several choices. You can go on the General Electric website and check out the refrigerator line. They have examples of products from each of the lines along with more detailed information about each of them. If you have a GE refrigerator already and you have any problems, questions, or concerns there is an online help center that you can use to troubleshoot. They also have tips on how to choose the right refrigerator for your needs.

However, for a more unbiased view, you can go on one of the many consumer review or rating sites and see what other people think of their refrigerator of any brand or style. You can also check out a consumer magazine at the library or purchase one at the store and find out more about every product line on the market with price comparisons, repair records and quality ratings.

With a purchase as big as this, you owe it to yourself to make the most educated choice possible.
